TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE

Move Motorbikes is a trading style of Booker Logistics Limited. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by the Company to the customer (the “Client”). By booking a delivery or requesting dispatch, you agree to the following protocols.

1. DEFINITION OF SERVICES

Move Motorbikes provides specialist logistics for the collection and delivery of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, and Quad bikes across the UK mainland. Our service includes a professional multi-point inspection, secure soft-tie transit, and documentation handover.

2. QUOTATIONS AND BOOKINGS

All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of transmission.
Quotes are based on the specific machine model and postcodes provided. Any changes to the route or asset type may result in a revised fee.
A booking is only confirmed once dispatch has issued a formal log or confirmation via email/WhatsApp.
On occasion, a deposit payment may be required to confirm your transportation booking.

3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Accuracy: The Client must provide accurate collection and delivery addresses, contact names, and phone numbers.
Machine Condition: The Client must disclose if a machine is a non-runner, has seized brakes, or has significant fuel/fluid leaks. We reserve the right to refuse carriage of hazardous assets.
Keys and Documents: It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that all keys, V5C documents, and service history are available at the point of collection.

4. DEALERSHIP & AUCTION COLLECTIONS

For dealer collections, the Client must ensure that the machine is “Released for Collection” and all balances are paid in full before our arrival.
For auction houses (BCA, Copart, etc.), the Client must provide all necessary release codes/gate passes in advance.
Waiting time at dealerships or auctions exceeding 30 minutes may incur a “Standby Fee.”

5. PRIVATE & MARKETPLACE SALES (eBay / Facebook)

Our dispatch team provides a visual condition report upon collection for private purchases.
Move Motorbikes acts as a logistics partner, not a mechanical surveyor. While we perform multi-point checks, we are not liable for hidden mechanical faults or internal engine condition.

6. INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

Asset Cover: Every machine in our care is covered by a specialist “Goods in Transit” policy up to the value of £50,000 GBP.
Exclusions: Our insurance does not cover cosmetic damage existing prior to collection, mechanical failure not caused by transit, or loss of revenue/indirect costs due to delivery delays.
Claims: Any transit-related damage must be noted on the delivery log at the point of handover and reported to dispatch within 24 hours.

7. CANCELLATIONS AND RE-ROUTING

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection time may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
If a collection is attempted but the machine is not available or the seller is not present, a “Wasted Journey” fee will apply.

8. TRANSIT PROTOCOLS

We utilize professional “Soft-Tie” strapping systems to ensure zero component pressure.
Machines are transported in enclosed, secure, and climate-protected specialist vehicles.
Move Motorbikes reserves the right to re-route or delay delivery due to extreme weather, road closures, or safety-critical traffic incidents (Force Majeure).

9. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is required via Bank Transfer or as otherwise agreed with dispatch.
For private clients, payment is typically due upon successful delivery unless otherwise stated in the quote log.

10. GOVERNING LAW & LEGAL DISCLOSURE

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Move Motorbikes is a trading style of Booker Logistics Limited, a specialist logistics brand managed by Dale, leveraging 16 years of industry pedigree.
